Who we are

Larzon Capital Oy ("Larzon Capital", "we", "our" or "us") is a Finland-incorporated independent M&A advisory firm operating across Europe, with principal operations based in Switzerland. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to processing your personal data in accordance with applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to our website (larzoncapital.com), current and prospective clients, business partners, and other individuals whose data we process in connection with our advisory activities.

Data we collect and why

We maintain contact and client registers for the purposes of client relationship management, targeted communication, service delivery, and business development.

The personal data we collect includes:

  • Name, title, and professional role

  • Business contact details (email address, telephone number)

  • Company name and address

  • Correspondence and communication history

We collect data primarily from you directly — when you contact us, complete a form on our website, or engage with us in connection with an advisory mandate. We may also collect data from publicly available sources such as company websites, LinkedIn, and commercial business registries (such as Bisnode or Asiakastieto) for business development purposes.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases:

Legitimate interests — for client relationship management, business development, and the delivery of our M&A advisory services, where our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to deliver services under an engagement letter or advisory mandate with you or the organisation you represent.

Consent — where we have specifically requested and received your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable laws or regulatory requirements.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide M&A, buy-and-build, and corporate finance advisory services

  • Communicate with you regarding current or potential engagements

  • Conduct business development and outreach to prospective clients and counterparties

  • Meet applicable legal, regulatory, and professional obligations

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Disclosure and transfer of data

We do not sell your personal data or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers assisting in service delivery (e.g. IT, accounting, and legal services), under appropriate data processing agreements

  • Affiliated entities and investment vehicles where relevant to a specific engagement

  • Counterparties and their advisors in connection with an M&A transaction you are party to, where disclosure is necessary for the transaction

  • Government authorities where required by applicable law, for example in connection with audit or regulatory procedures

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU or EEA unless an adequate level of data protection is ensured through a European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. In practice:

  • Client and mandate-related data is retained for a minimum of ten years following the conclusion of an engagement, in line with Finnish accounting and professional liability requirements

  • Business development contact data is reviewed periodically and removed when no longer relevant

  • Website analytics data is retained in accordance with the default settings of the relevant analytics tool
